“Diana is very affirming and kind and I'm so impressed that she can keep track of what I am talking about as my inattentive brain that wanders all over and weaves through storylines in my own life. I appreciate the space to just sit in everything that is going on while she holds space and the gentle but empowering suggestions on what to focus on in the next week.”

Getting to know Diana Wilson

Thank you for considering me as your therapist. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 25 years of experience working in schools, hospitals, non-profit organizations, and community mental health settings. I work with adults ages 18 to 99 navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, grief, relationship and family concerns, life transitions, and personal growth. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in the belief that people are doing the best they can with the tools, experiences, and resources available to them. Drawing from DBT, CBT, TF-CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I support clients in increasing awareness, building on existing strengths, and developing practical skills to navigate life's challenges. My work is grounded in an understanding of the connection between the brain, body, emotions, relationships, and environment. Together, we explore how your brain, body, life experiences, and relationships influence your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and overall well-being, creating opportunities for meaningful and sustainable change. Therapy is a collaborative process, and finding the right fit is important. I encourage clients to ask questions, trust their instincts, and choose a therapist whose approach and style align with their needs, goals, and values.

What should a new client know about working with you?

During our initial sessions, we will focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for you to share your thoughts and feelings. We will work together to establish clear expectations and explore why you have decided to seek support. I am here to support you in achieving sustained progress towards your healing. Confidentiality is of the utmost importance throughout our time together.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
