“Diane is easily one of the best therapists I've had. She's extremely easy to talk to about anything and is open-minded when it comes to trying different forms of therapy or techniques that better match my needs that I may not have even been aware of that existed. She takes the time to help you revel in the little wins and after extended periods of work, she really helps you to evaluate the growth in that period of time. I can tell I've really grown and changed as a person (for the better and for myself) since I've been doing therapy with her.”

Getting to know Diane Blackmon

Hey! My name is Diane Blackmon, and I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical in the state of Maryland. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Widener University. My deeply held personal values inspire me to use feminist and decolonized lenses to help adults decrease shame around reactions to stressful and traumatic experiences. I have specialized interests in eating disorders, OCD, complex PTSD, and attachment dynamics in relationships of all types. My love of hip-hop, my old dog Johnny, my own spiritual practices, and reality TV help me unwind in my free time!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
