Hi there, I'm Dina! Hi! My name is Dina Nelli. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and earned my Master's in Social Work from California State University Long Beach. I enjoy really getting to know my clients so that we can come up with treatment goals to work on together. My approach When we get started, we will spend time getting to know each other so that we can build a connection where you feel safe, heard, and supported. We will talk about where you are and where you want to be and together figure out a plan to get you there! My focus I have been working in the mental health field for over 25 years. I enjoy working with adolescents, women in transition through different life phases, addressing relationship issues, and helping you get to the healthiest place you can be. I use humor and shared experiences to connect with you and encourage you through whatever is causing discomfort or pain. My journey to mental healthcare Growing up, I had a close family member who struggled with mental health issues. I always wanted to help but didn't know how. When I started my Master's of Social Work program, I knew I was in the right place and looked forward to working in the helping profession. Over the last 25 years, I continue to feel validated that I made the right career decision-I wouldn't want to be doing anything else! I love people and am fascinated by them. My goal is to help others feel their strength and know their worth! My goals for you When establishing your goals, I like to listen to how you are feeling, what has happened, and what has worked and hasn't so that we can together create a treatment plan that is reachable, sustainable, and will give you the results you are looking for.
