My name is Dominique Squire, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. At A Ray of Light, PLLC, I provide trauma-informed, holistic mental health care for individuals seeking balance, clarity, and emotional stability. My work is grounded in evidence-based therapy while honoring the connection between the mind, body, and spirit.
I believe healing is not about fixing what’s broken, it’s about creating safety, regulation, and understanding so growth can happen naturally. Many of the clients I work with feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in survival mode. My role is to offer a supportive, compassionate space where clients can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and build sustainable coping skills.
My approach integrates traditional therapeutic methods with nervous-system-informed practices that support emotional regulation and self-awareness. All care is collaborative, client-centered, and respectful of each individual’s values and beliefs. I do not impose spiritual or personal viewpoints; instead, I support clients in finding what feels grounding and aligned for them.
Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or the impact of trauma, therapy can be a place to regain stability and rediscover hope. You deserve care that feels safe, thoughtful, and authentic. Please be aware that insurance companies do not cover documentation and court support. To provide these service, I require a minimum of 60 days of sessions to gather relevant information. The fees is payable via private pay. Please note that all requests may not be fulfilled if not clinically necessary.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
