Warm greetings to you! I am Dr. Snyder and am a licensed marriage and family therapist. For the past sixteen years I have specialized in child and adolescent treatment. I continue to work with children in addition to teens, families, couples, and individual adults. I help others address the underlying concerns, patterns, choices that may be contributing to those feeling stuck in repetitive familiar situations that they find personally undesirable. I assist with fostering growth and facilitating change through various avenues such as skill building that may contribute to problem resolution. I utilize different treatment methods including but not limited to cognitive and behavioral therapy, behavior modification, dialectical behavioral techniques and play therapy. I offer evening and daytime appointments to help with meeting your scheduling needs. I have also presented to general, academic, and professional audiences speaking on the topics of: Early Psychosis Dialectical Behavior Techniques A parent's guide to navigating the I.E.P. process Career Networking Multi-Cultural Awareness I have provided legal expert testimony addressing mental health needs within special education settings.
