I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, as well as a background in business administration. I also have over 10 years of experience in social services and mental health. My clinical focus is working with adults who have mood disorders, anxiety, or serious mental illnesses.
I am very passionate about mental healthcare and entered this profession because I value supporting others in their efforts to be the best and healthiest version of themselves. My approach to treatment involves working collaboratively with clients to help identify their strengths, foster self-empowerment, and promote healthy well-being. This may include exploring the whole person within the context of their social and cultural environments. I also strive to create a safe environment and therapeutic relationship where clients feel free from judgment, valued, and respected.
Making the decision to seek therapy can be a big step toward addressing your psychological well-being, healing process, personal growth, or other goals. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
