Have you ever felt stuck and desperately desired an accountability partner to help guide you back out of your rut? Or felt misunderstood and unheard by the people you're closest to? Anxious about making decisions or initiating tasks? I could keep going, but you get the point. Life throws us curveballs throughout our unpredictable journeys, and having professional support from a mental health therapist can certainly help. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Salisbury University, and I help clients set achievable goals to be accomplished in one year or less. I then act as their accountability partner throughout our weekly meetings to crush those goals. In our sessions, we will proactively chip away little by little at the tasks at hand. I may "prescribe homework" to help keep you motivated, offer feedback and new perspectives to help you gain insight, challenge you to think from new angles, and much more. The therapeutic journey takes work but is empowering and rewarding. Imagine yourself one year from now. Who do you want to be? What do you want to change? Where would you like to end up?
