Dorothy Myers is a LPC with over 27 years of experience providing substance abuse, mental health, and dual-diagnosis counseling to a culturally diverse group of adults and adolescents. Dorothy completed her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology with a sub-specialty in Marital and Family Therapy at Kutztown University. Diagnosed with OCD in 1992, she learned firsthand about the skills necessary to keep mental health conditions from holding you back. Dorothy utilizes an eclectic approach that combines aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy (PCT), psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused therapy (SFT), family systems theory, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. We all reach a point in our lives in which we felt stuck and don't know what to do. Dorothy is eager to help you sort things out and explore the steps you can take to find greater happiness in life.
