Hello and welcome! I am Dr. Angelica Dempsey, a licensed professional therapist in the state of Georgia, with a PhD in Psychology from Capella University. I am honored to work with you during your healing journey! A little bit about me: I possess over 15 years of experience within the counseling and psychology profession. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, families, and addictions. I am competent in psychosocial evaluations and assessments, behavioral management models, counseling therapy, crisis management interventions and procedures, and case management—both in the community and in high-intensity clinical environments. CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), a scientific therapeutic approach, is the primary method we will use to aid in this process. Because everyone is unique, I customize counseling interventions for each individual to meet their specific needs; thus, other therapeutic approaches may be employed along this journey. I look forward to working with you!
