Getting to know Dr. Tanea McKee
Tanea McKee Ed.D., LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Delaware, Georgia, Nevada, and Wisconsin. She earned her Doctorate of Education in International and Comparative Education from Northcentral University and holds Master’s degrees in Counseling Psychology from Regis University and Educational Counseling from the University of Phoenix. Tanea is a Clinical Fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT) and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. She is also a member of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and is currently working toward certification in Sex Therapy.
In her free time, Tanea enjoys astrology and the Tarot, traveling, listening to old school Hip-Hop, and playing with her grandchildren. Her favorite trip to date was a week she spent in Cuba.

These core values influence our fundamental belief that people seek therapy because they desire to become better versions of themselves, and are the cornerstone of Tanea's therapeutic practice. Tanea centers the therapeutic process around these core values, making for an individually tailored therapeutic experience. She assists clients in identifying the source of problematic issues, helps guide clients in their healing process, and serves in a supportive role for clients to prevent problems from resurfacing.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
