Getting to know Dramane Coulibaly

I’m a licensed therapist who supports children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and stress. I’m committed to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to work toward meaningful change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and strengths-based. I draw from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based interventions to help clients build healthy coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and move toward their personal goals. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Hunter College, specializing in Advanced Clinical Practice with a focus on Children, Youth, and Families. Through my experience across mental health and community settings, I’ve provided therapy, crisis intervention, and care coordination to diverse populations, bringing both clinical expertise and genuine compassion to my work.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When you are ready to get started, schedule an initial assessment visit (intake) through Zocdoc. After you book an appointment, a care coordinator will reach out to review your method of payment and/or insurance number and answer any initial questions you may have before our first visit.
