Getting to know Dvora Kravitz

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California. Having completed my bachelor’s degree from U.C.L.A, I went on to complete a master’s in counseling psychology from Loyola Marymount University. For 13 years, I worked for the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services as a Child Social Worker, and the Los Angeles Unified School District as a Special Education teacher. In 2014 I completed a post-graduate certificate from Fresno Pacific University in 21st Century pedagogy. In 2018 I was certified by the Association of Educational Therapists as a professional Educational Therapist. My approach is collaborative, curious, and compassionate. I synthesize cognitive behavioral therapy with play, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and elements of internal family systems. I specialize in children, teens, and adults, couples, and families with ADHD, learning disabilities, mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma, and middle and later life transition.
