Hi there, I'm Eboni! Welcome and Congratulations on taking your first step towards empowerment. I am Eboni Scott, a licensed professional counselor, with 5 years experience. I have provided supportive services to diverse populations since 2009. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Counseling. My approach I work collaboratively with clients utilizing client-centered capacity-building strategies. Motivational interviewing, behavior activation, and trauma-informed care are among some of the evidence-based techniques that assist in building our therapeutic relationship. I have experience with the successful implementation of several theoretical approaches. My focus I specialize in assisting clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship issues, life transitions, grief, and/or PTSD. My communication style My eclectic style allows space for nonjudgmental, culturally competent development of customized maps to address client objectives on their journey. My journey to mental healthcare I have been involved in helping relationships most of my life. My mother being and nurse practitioner and my father being a fire fighter developed a courageous compassion that fueled my desire to help people. Through volunteering, I learned the value of addressing underlying issues and contributing factors to a person's current situation. This led me to a curiosity of the mind and human relationships. My undergraduate studies focused on psychology and sociology. Providing supportive services to individuals struggling with homelessness, substance use, domestic violence, and other issues compelled me to learn more about root causes, adverse experiences, and trauma, as they seemed to be contributing factors in most cases. Making a difference is my mission, and helping people heal is my passion. My goals for you My goal is to help clients develop coping skills, uncover root causes, and remove barriers to healing.

I chose Eboni for couple‚Äôs therapy. I appreciated her unbiased approach to our sessions. She took time to recognize other aspects of root causes and clarified understanding of those root causes, which helped us come to a common ground during our sessions. She is great!
