Hi there, I'm Ebonie! I’m passionate about helping clients work through life's challenges, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, and other difficult emotions, in a way that feels both supportive and empowering. My ultimate goal is to create a space where clients can be their authentic selves while building the tools needed for growth and lasting change. My focus I enjoy working with clients who recognize that their current patterns are no longer producing the results they want. They may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or frustrated by repeating the same cycles in their thoughts, emotions, and/or relationships, and are ready to approach things differently, with a different perspective and strategy. My approach Therapy is a collaborative and goal-oriented process designed to support meaningful, lasting change. Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, sessions focus on helping you better understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My communication style I challenge you to be the very best version of yourself. This includes using gentle confrontation and challenging inconsistencies and incongruences to encourage you to see from alternate perspectives. I assign homework, which includes worksheets, journaling, and skill-building, to help facilitate and maintain change. My journey to mental healthcare After a long career in real estate, I had the courage to quit my full-time job and pursue my passion as a therapist. I initially became interested in therapy in HS. I feel at home in the therapy room due to my engaging personality and empathetic nature. This has allowed me to connect with my clients on a genuine level. My goals for you It is important that treatment goals are collaborative. Together, we will identify clear, realistic goals that are reflective of what you want to achieve, while allowing space for growth in other areas.
