Getting to know Eddie Collins

UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I use the knowledge and training I received, including my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida, to assist those I work with in recognizing and altering false ideas and beliefs. Together, we search for evidence that refutes distorted beliefs in order to challenge these distortions. For the people I work with, being able to recognize incorrect beliefs is the key to releasing tension and anxiety. I employ a multimodal strategy based on cognitive-behavioral methods. My intention is to assist you in becoming self-sufficient so that you may trust and depend on yourself. I will teach you how to make decisions that could change your life with confidence. Although it will not be simple, the benefits can be profound.

I see patients through UpLift. When you create your profile, you will input your insurance information and the team will reach out with your copay amount. If you do not have insurance, I also take cash pay clients. The UpLift team will work directly with you to inform you of payments due.
