Getting to know Edwin Campos
I’m a bilingual therapist who is passionate about helping children, teens, and families grow, heal, and thrive. With nearly a decade of experience as a school social worker in New York City, I understand the challenges students and families face both inside and outside the classroom. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free space where you and your child can feel seen, heard, and empowered.
What should a new client know about working with you?
In our work together, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing, tailoring each approach to your unique strengths and goals. Whether I’m providing counseling, guiding families through the special education process, or helping young people navigate big emotions, I bring warmth, collaboration, and cultural sensitivity to every session.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University and am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to the children and families I serve.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
When you are ready to get started, schedule an initial assessment visit (intake) through Zocdoc. After you book an appointment, a care coordinator will reach out to review your method of payment and/or insurance number and answer any initial questions you may have before our first visit.
