Hello, my name is Edwin. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach. I have been working in the mental health field for 13 years and counting, with the past 5 years as a social worker and therapist. Throughout my career, I have worked with children, youth, adults, and older adults. I have supported clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and both acute and long-term life changes. I became a therapist because I find it rewarding to know that I am able to help others.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In our first session together we will discuss symptoms and goals that you have for yourself. In our following sessions we will develop interventions and practice some of them during sessions. You should feel that you have a safe space and are allowed to heal and grow during our therapy sessions.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
