Getting to know Edwin Sanchez

Hi! ¡Hola! I'm Edwin, born and raised in North Hollywood, CA. I am a first-generation college graduate and a second-generation Latino from Salvadoran immigrant parents. Despite how much the value of family and closeness was instilled by my culture, my own identification as a queer Latino brought profound challenges with belonging, acceptance, self-worth, and self-love. Although it is a life-long journey, I have found meaning participating in my own therapy and am here to support you through that first step. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh, which has deepened my commitment to helping others navigate their own paths to healing and self-discovery.
