Getting to know Elaine Godoy
Hello! My name is Elaine, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I hold the strong belief that people are perfectly imperfect. They are capable of reaching their full potential but can also become stuck, unhappy, and unable to live a fulfilling life. That’s where I come in. I will work with you to help you heal from within.
My specialties include working with parents who have a child with special needs, LGBTQ+ issues, and grief.

What should a new client know about working with you?
Clients can expect to get a better understanding of themselves and the issues they are experiencing. Why is this important? The more we understand the underlying causes of what’s driving our symptoms, the better we can help manage and alleviate the issues that bring us to therapy. Clients can also expect to learn more effective ways of managing the issues that they face.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
