Are you looking to understand yourself and grow on a deeper level? If so, I am likely to be the right therapist for you. I work with adults (18+) navigating a wide range of psychological concerns such as anxiety, depression, self esteem, or relationship difficulties. My approach is well-suited for clients who are seeking depth, meaning-making, and a therapeutic relationship that is clearly boundaried and genuinely human. Clients often share that they easily feel safe with me, appreciate my knowledge, and find that our work helps them gain understanding they were unable to reach in previous therapy experiences.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I draw on my extensive study of psychology, personality theory, and philosophy to give thoughtfulness and structure to my work, but at the heart of my approach is providing a therapeutic relationship where clients feel listened too and empathized with. In addition, I also conduct therapy work with my clients in more ways, which may include: Helping clients to understand and shift their self-limiting patterns, my providing corrective relational experiences to heal past neglect or trauma, my offering guidance for life, career, or relationship challenges, and my helping people to explore existential questions of identity and meaning. I am also trained in EMDR therapy, which can help accelerate insight and healing if past traumatic experiences are a part of what is contributing to a present day difficulties.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I currently hold therapy sessions online and my sessions run for 50 minutes. When a new/prospective client contacts me, I usually set up a free 15 minute consult to discussed if I can provide my clients with what they are looking for.
