Psychotherapist
865 9th St, Arcata, CA
Working with me is direct, relational, and consent-forward. I’m a sex-positive, body-affirming therapist who treats relationships as living systems shaped by culture, power, attachment, and survival—not just a set of symptoms to manage. People come to me when intimacy is complicated by shame, secrecy, orthodoxy, or the invisible rules that organize sex, money, labor, time, privacy, care, and authority. My practice is especially fluent in polyamory and ethical non-monogamy, kink and power exchange, sex work and sex-work–adjacent realities, and complex relational systems (including chosen families, home-cules, and polycules). I also work with monogamous and mixed-identity couples and individuals; you don’t need a particular label to belong here, but you do need willingness to get honest about what’s happening. You can expect warmth without placating, accountability without humiliation, and a steady focus on agency, consent nuance, and agreements that are livable.

Working with me is direct, relational, and consent-forward. What is your typical process for working with clients?

I offer sex-positive, body-affirming therapy in California for individuals, couples, and relationship constellations—polycules, home-cules, and chosen families—who want more integrity, skill, and ease in the way they love, negotiate, and build a life. Many of my clients’ relationships, identities, desires, or livelihoods fall outside dominant cultural norms; others are outwardly “conventional” but privately living at a threshold where old scripts no longer fit. I specialize in polyamory and ethical non-monogamy, kink and power exchange, sex work and sex-work–adjacent realities, and complex relational systems. My work is in service to joy and healing: building capacity around intimacy, money, power, consent, and family life while supporting you to stay grounded, resourced, and in conscious relationship with your agency and abundance. You may be newly exploring non-monogamy, or you may be deeply experienced and navigating a structural shift—integrating new partners into a household, renegotiating agreements, clarifying visibility, or finding language for children. I support relationships working through differences in income, desire, authority, labor, or risk tolerance, with careful attention to balance, exit rights, and repair. I’m especially nourished by supporting sexual rebels, people beyond the gender binary, sex workers and their partners, and those recovering from rigid or moralistic cultural narratives. I also work with clients integrating psychedelic experiences, when relevant and appropriate. Originally trained as an ecotherapist, I work primarily by phone or video and, when useful, invite movement, walking, and embodied awareness into sessions.
