Hello and welcome, I'm Eleni, and I'm glad you stopped by! The first step is always the hardest, but now that you are here, let's spend some time together and figure out how I can be helpful to you. By entering my room, you will enter a safe and judgment-free zone without pressure or expectations. Together, we will learn and grow. My background is from Europe—Greece, in particular. I spent my teen and young adult years in Germany and worked in Europe and the Middle East. My exposure to many cultures has helped me to understand human struggles on different levels. I hold a Master's degree (MA) and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) as well as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) in the State of Texas. In the counseling room, you will encounter a genuine, straightforward, compassionate, and sometimes funny lady who cannot wait to meet you. I specialize in a wide range of areas including anxiety, children's and adolescent mental/behavioral health, depression, family relationships, gender identity, grief/bereavement, LGBTQIA+ support, life transitions, military/veteran support, multicultural/diversity issues, PTSD, intimate/romantic relationships, sex/intimacy issues, somatic symptom disorder, stress, suicidal ideation and/or self-harming, and trauma. I also offer SonderMind Video Telehealth for those who prefer virtual sessions. I believe in creating a therapeutic space where you feel heard and understood. My approach is rooted in empathy and respect, and I often incorporate humor to make our sessions more engaging and relatable. My goal is to help you navigate life's challenges and support you in finding your path to healing and growth.
