Getting to know Eleni Salinas Escorza
There's a reason they say, "It takes a village to raise a child." Parenting can get hard. REALLY hard. But there's no need to navigate these challenges alone. I proudly serve parents and children (ages 3-12 years old) who are struggling with big emotions and behaviors, developmental transitions, or child and adult mental health issues. I strive to create a therapeutic atmosphere where each person feels seen and heard. Through play therapy, I can begin to communicate with your child and help guide them as they make sense of their feelings and behaviors. But parents need support, too. I strongly believe parent well-being is just as important as a child's well-being. Parent Check-ins are sessions solely for parents and caregivers—a time to support you as an individual and as a parent. These meetings are flexible and can be a place to vent, ask questions, or explore parenting styles and strategies. Working with both parents and children in counseling leads to better outcomes, longer-lasting change, and a stronger attachment between parent and child. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas, Rio Grande Valley, which informs my compassionate and evidence-based approach to supporting families.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
