*A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for cancellation of appointments or a cancellation fee will be charged.* Are you feeling overwhelmed with life's responsibilities? Are you uncertain of your purpose and finding it difficult to look forward to another day? Do you seek a relationship with your children so that they flourish with independence yet continue to stay connected with you as they grow? Elicia believes there is great benefit to having someone in your corner as you face life's challenges, and she is here to help! She believes we each have the power to change how we live by how we think. Through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), she encourages you to identify and challenge negative thinking patterns, then replace them with truth. Elicia also uses psychoeducation and homework assignments to help grow these new “muscles” into strong and healthy ways of thinking. She believes you were created with a purpose and that your future is unwritten. Elicia has experience working in a domestic violence non-profit with children and adults, as well as in an inpatient psychiatric hospital with adults and geriatrics. She draws on these experiences, along with her own life, to bring a deeper understanding to challenges such as low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety. Elicia grew up in the breadbasket but now considers home to be “deep in the heart of Texas” after living in North Texas for more than 20 years. She has been married for 19 years and is the mother of four extraordinary children. She is kind, calm, and a lover of the outdoors. Elicia earned her Master's Degree in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman's University in 2006. She wants you to know that you do not have to go through life's ups and downs alone. You are stronger than you realize!

Wonderful listener. Great communicator. Thinks of questions you wouldn't normally be asked.
Video visit
Left feeling more anxious and confused than when I went in. She wasn't able to aide or give me any techniques/ideas that I didn't already practice, waste of my energy. Seemed only interested to help if I agreed to more visits which made me feel like a capitalist venture instead of a woman in need, said it would take 6 months to evaluate a time sensitive matter I had. Look else where.
