Welcome you found a safe space. My name is Alyssa Valentine and I’m a LPC associate therapist. I am supervised by Dr. Valencia Campbell Chapin LPC-S, RPT-S, SAP, LCDC I have a bachelors degree in psychology from North Texas and a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling at Midwestern State University. I have over three years of experience working with children and teens particularly those with autism and ADHD and I have a professional background and applied behavior analysis therapy. I’m passionate about helping children and their caregivers feel more connected, supported and understood in their everyday lives. .

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am trained in all plate therapy, child center plate, therapy, solution, focus, brief therapy, and cognitive behavior therapy. I also enjoy incorporating art base techniques into my work when words fall short together, we can create meaningful change and help your child thrive one small step at a time.
