With over 10 years of experience in social work, I have had the privilege of working in various areas such as child welfare, substance abuse, and higher education. I hold a Master's in Social Work (MSW) and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I love working with older adolescents, young adults, and adults, and I am passionate about helping people identify their unique goals and find creative solutions to reach them. My specialties include addiction, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, LGBTQIA+ support, trauma, and life transitions. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, body image issues, or trauma, I am here to help you embrace your true self and rediscover your self-love. My therapeutic approach is primarily psychodynamic, where we will explore your past to understand the reasons behind what isn't working in your life. We will then focus on identifying unhelpful thought patterns and finding alternative ways of thinking. I also incorporate mindfulness-based coping skills and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into our sessions. I am always open to trying new approaches that you may be interested in exploring. I offer both virtual and in-person appointments to accommodate your needs. Outside of our sessions, I am an avid yogi and music lover. I enjoy attending live events and music festivals. My interests include reading, crafting, camping, water sports, and running. When I'm not working, you will often find me spending time with my family and enjoying the great outdoors.
