Feeling overwhelmed? You are not alone. I can help you feel more grounded and help address the emotions and thoughts that can take over and interfere with life. My approach I use a collaborative, empowering approach that helps you navigate and feel in control of your emotions. I also use mindfulness to help you control your responses. My focus I have helped young adults and adults navigate past or current trauma that impacts their response and reactions to others, both personally and professionally. My communication style “I provide open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening and will give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences with me as an empathetic partner. If we’re working through something challenging, you can expect me to be calm and present.” My journey to mental healthcare I have worked in behavioral health for a long while in an Executive Capacity and, over time, learned that my love for helping others became challenging. I changed my journey to direct contact with clients. My training helped me connect with clients at a new level that brings me s deep sense of purpose. My goals for you "Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. It’s normal to feel nervous—therapy is a process we’ll build together over time. We’ll move at your pace, one step at a time, and I’ll be here to guide you throughout.” My first session with you Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and connect. We will go over your thoughts and hopes for therapy, and I will share information about how I practice and what our sessions will look like.
