I commend the courage it takes to seek solutions to overwhelming situations and patterns that do not encourage our best selves. I know the importance of evaluating a therapist and asking yourself if you could trust and be honest about your life and experiences with this person. My highest intention is to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for people to share their stories and experiences while finding ways to heal and grow. My approach Each session and each person receives a customized approach to best meet their needs and reasons for showing up to therapy. My style is interactive, direct, and caring. I attempt to demystify the process of therapy by being a real person who has also been in therapy and recognizes that all people and all families have problems and there is no such thing as a perfect life. I desire that each person experience compassion, dignity and respect so you feel safe in exploring your inner thoughts and feelings during therapy. I use many different approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Mindfulness and Spiritual practices. My focus Life can feel overwhelming and it is easy to get stuck, disconnected or lose focus on what is important to you. Sometimes clients need support in pivoting and realigning their actions and focus towards health and healing. Whether you are struggling with memories/feelings from abuse, anxiety, divorce, relationship and career challenges or just feeling lost you are not alone. I work with people who recognize something is lacking in their lives and they are out of balance.
