An ideal client is someone who takes suggestions and invests in their own healing. Their needs may include a mood disorder or behaviors they want to change. We would work on their thinking and how it impacts their behaviors. We would also explore their motivations and how to increase them to make better decisions. The goal is for the client to apply what they learn in therapy while living their lives, eventually no longer needing me to help them through challenges and being able to lean on their natural support. Mental health, trauma, and addictions have been my main focus since starting my career. I have helped people of all ages and cultures learn to help themselves get better. If I cannot help, I will ensure you find someone who can. My main focus is to make sure you feel comfortable and free to explore your needs to improve and become the best version of yourself. I hold a Master's degree in Psychology and Human Services from the University of Pittsburgh, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively. I know you have not been doing well; otherwise, you would not be here. So please pat yourself on the back for making this difficult move. It takes courage to look within yourself and reflect on things that might be painful, but to get through it, you have to go through it.
