I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience supporting both children and adults through a wide range of life challenges. My background includes working with children in community and school-based mental health settings, as well as supporting adults and families as an oncology social worker. My approach I take a client-centered approach, creating a safe, compassionate space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward healing and growth. Whether you’re navigating a difficult transition, managing stress, or seeking deeper self-understanding. My focus I work with teens and adults navigating the challenges of trauma, chronic or serious health conditions, and ADHD. With my background working in Oncology, I have experience working with adults who are navigating life-changing illness and processing end-of-life issues, as well as supporting their family members. My communication style I aim to provide a calm and soothing environment for clients. I take the client's lead on overall tone for each session. My journey to mental healthcare In graduate school, both of my internships were focused on early childhood mental health, working in a therapeutic preschool and in Early Head Start. After graduating, I began working in county mental health with clients ages 3-24. I lived in Butte County when the Camp Fire occurred. I volunteered with the medical team at one of the shelters. That experience gave me a desire to begin working as a medical social worker, I was hired as an Oncology Social Worker. My time working in Oncology was very rewarding. I had the honor of walking alongside multiple patients through treatment to remission and others to the end of life. My goals for you I believe that therapy is a collaborative process. We will work together to identify goals. Together, we identify patterns, build resilience, and empower you to move forward with clarity and confidence.
