Elizabeth Menon obtained her Master’s in Clinical Counseling: Art Therapy from Adler University Chicago and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Chicago. She has been practicing in the field since 2020. Elizabeth has worked in community care settings, substance use services, primary care clinics, and outpatient clinics. She works with adults ages 18 and older to address anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, life transitions, and substance use concerns. Elizabeth is an integrative therapist who takes time to meet clients where they are at to help them on their mental health journey. Elizabeth is currently working on obtaining her Registered Art Therapist (ATR) credential and is passionate about incorporating Art Therapy with clients to address their specific mental health goals. She utilizes a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Adlerian Art Therapy practices through a trauma-informed lens. Elizabeth is gender-affirming and supports those in the LGBTQIA+ community, women’s health, life transitions, and substance use concerns. In her free time, you can find Elizabeth outdoors when it is warm—either running, riding her bike, or roller skating. She enjoys making art, spending time with her cats, reading, and gaming.
