Starting therapy can feel intimidating/uncertain-trusting someone new, wondering if it'll work, where to begin? But what if it does work? There is so much potential for healing & growth, & it all starts with one decision: to try. I specialize in helping individuals unpack feelings of anxiety, depression and learn how to navigate them more effectively. These conditions manifest in many ways - isolating, avoiding, ruminating, negative self-talk, or feeling constant worry/fear. My work also focuses on improving interpersonal relationships, which are deeply connected to our mental well-being. Do you feel disconnected or misunderstood in relationships? Together, we’ll develop healthy ways of relating, coping, and regulating, explore your strengths, and work through barriers that keep you stuck. My approach In our work together, we will explore what works and feels right and take a strengths-based approach in resolving concerns. We will use a combination of empathy, skills, validation, and digging deeper through Socratic questioning to identify whatever it is that is holding you back. After identifying the barriers, we will use building blocks through skills, affirmations, and examine evidence to improve confidence within yourself and take control of your well-being, life, relationships, and goals. Each session, we will meet where you are. I take a client-centered, collaborative approach to therapy to make sure you feel welcomed, heard, encouraged, and supported through every step. I am a firm believer that therapy is a partnership; we will work closely together in identifying goals--whether it is improving productivity, relationships, coping, communication, self-esteem, or other personal objectives.
