Psychotherapist
CA
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who takes a collaborative and compassionate approach to therapy. I educate interns becoming therapists, and I bring a unique perspective to therapy where Psychoeducation is added as a way of healing. My approach I primarily draw from Family Systems Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand their patterns, make meaningful changes, and move toward mental wellness. I also incorporate techniques from other approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. My focus I support clients facing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, life transitions, parenting stress, and grief. I also work with individuals and families dealing with substance use, cultural stress, low self-esteem, and challenges related to aging or career shifts. I’m passionate about helping people create meaningful change in their lives, no matter where they are starting from. My communication style My clients often describe me as warm, grounded, transparent, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where you feel seen and understood. I believe that healing begins with connection, and I meet you with curiosity, empathy, and respect. My journey to mental healthcare My own life experiences brought me to therapy, where I discovered insight, healing, and growth. That journey shaped my passion for helping others do the same. I became a therapist to walk alongside people as they navigate life’s challenges and reconnect with their strengths, values, and sense of purpose. My goals for you Your goals are at the heart of our work. I collaborate with you to identify what matters most, whether that’s improving your relationships, managing stress, finding direction, or building self-worth. Therapy is a shared process, and I’m here to help you create a path forward that feels empowering and sustainable.
