UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I try to meet every client where they are, offering a safe place to share their story, concerns, fears, and experiences. Together, we identify the client’s strengths, resources, and talents. Over time, the goal is for the client to utilize these strengths along with effective coping skills to manage symptoms, recognize triggers, and enjoy a higher quality of life. I believe therapy must be flexible and tailored to each individual, as not every client fits a cookie-cutter approach. Learning about the client and discovering the best way to work with them is essential to keeping them engaged. I hold a Master’s in Psychology from Regent University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate, client-centered care.
