Hello! My name is Ellen Silbert. I am a licensed therapist in Massachusetts. I have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master's degree in Social Work from New York University. I have been practicing for over 40 years. I have literally worked with populations from birth to death. I worked in the labor and delivery room with teen parents, adoptions, miscarriage, and stillbirth. I've been a youth and family counselor, have an extensive medical background, worked with an elderly population, provide crisis intervention, and have years of hospice care experience. I have had a private practice for 35 years. I provide a safe, trusting, confidential environment, which helps you feel comfortable sharing thoughts and feelings to assist in working through life's complexities. I provide a non-judgmental environment that supports working through your presenting issues. I am committed to my clients and encourage emails and contact between sessions if needed. More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
