Hello, I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) licensed in Florida, providing telehealth services to individuals, couples, and families. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida. My specialties include anxiety, depression, relationship stressors, and chronic illness. I work from a cognitive behavioral and relational lens to help clients recognize unhelpful patterns and reach attainable goals. My approach I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral, Person-Centered, and Relational therapies (including Gottman and Systems), along with Strength-based approaches and Motivational Interviewing as needed. I believe in tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each client. My focus I am passionate about supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, chronic illness, or neurodivergence. I also have experience working with those struggling with addiction and persistent mental health diagnoses. With couples and families, I help identify problem areas and use active listening skills to facilitate processing and effective change in their relationships. My communication style I am direct and collaborative with individual clients, assisting them in challenging negative self-beliefs and working through uncomfortable thoughts and processes to achieve their full potential. With couples and families, I use collaborative cognitive and family approaches to help members identify and work through problem areas together. My journey to mental healthcare I have enjoyed being the “listener and helper” for as long as I can remember. Having faced my own struggles, I decided to become the person I could have benefited from during times of transition or unease. My goal is to meet each individual or group where they are and provide a warm, encouraging atmosphere to discuss and challenge the areas that hinder their well-being.
