What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and tailored specifically to you. I use CBT, DBT-informed, trauma-informed, and person-centered approaches to help you understand patterns, build coping and emotional regulation skills, and navigate difficult experiences. I’ll meet you where you are while providing practical tools, thoughtful support, and space to explore what may be happening beneath the surface. My goal is for you to feel heard and respected while building skills and insight that can support meaningful change beyond our sessions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’d like to work toward. I’ll ask questions to understand your history and current needs, and we’ll begin identifying goals together. As we continue, I’ll tailor the pace and approach to you rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on your needs, we may work on understanding thought and behavior patterns, building coping and emotional regulation skills, processing difficult experiences, or developing practical strategies for navigating everyday life.

Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full initial appointment fee. During your initial appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
