Getting to know Emily Dillon

Are you feeling overwhelmed parenting your teen? Dreaming of that breakthrough conversation? The teen years are stormy, and we often need support navigating the waters. I help teens and parents build healthy relationships, heal trauma, address negative family patterns, improve communication, and establish clear boundaries. The relationships we create now with our kids will inform the health of our relationships with them as they grow up and impact their relationships with future partners and friends. Your teen and your family deserve to have healthy relationships and mental wellness. I offer individual teen therapy, individual parent counseling, teen and parent counseling, and co-parent counseling. I create a safe, supportive, and affirming space to heal family issues, improve teen and parent well-being, address family dynamics and patterns, and support the establishment of boundaries and healthy communication. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor’s degree from Otis College of Art and Design. If you have concerns about your family’s well-being, your teen’s mental health, or need support with your own parenting journey, I encourage you to take that next step and reach out. The teen years are rough, and parenting is hard. We all need a support system, and I would be honored to be a part of yours.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
