Hi there! My name is Emily Kern and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I have worked in the mental health field for the last 6 years in a variety of clinical capacities. I have gained a great deal of experience working primarily with the adult population. Over the past several years, I have worked with individuals with a variety of presenting concerns including trauma, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, stress, interpersonal relationships, communication, and addiction.
My goal is to join you in exploring areas in which you feel stuck to help you heal in a holistic and meaningful way. My areas of specialty include trauma-focused therapy and client-centered therapy. I believe that therapy is not a “one size fits all” approach, but rather to join you exactly where you are in your journey toward wellness.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
