OH
Hello, I'm Emma, and I am so happy that you have found me. I am here to help walk you through the hard times that come up in our lives. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with an MS, I specialize in addictions and co-occurring disorders, such as anxiety and mood disorders. I work with individuals on their own substance use concerns, but also help manage their lives around their friends', family members', and significant others' substance use. My approach is LGBTQ+ affirming and trauma-informed, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for everyone I work with. In our sessions, I like to use a variety of therapeutic techniques, including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, relaxation techniques, and solution-focused therapy. I believe in taking small, manageable steps to work up to goals or through any problem, whether it's substance use, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, anger, codependency, relational issues, employment challenges, communication difficulties, or other life areas. My goal is to provide you with the tools and support you need to navigate these challenges and achieve your personal goals. I understand that seeking therapy can be a big step, and I am here to make that journey as comfortable and effective as possible. I look forward to talking with you soon and helping you on your path to healing and growth. Let me, help you, to help yourself.
