My expertise is in helping men who are feeling disconnected from their partners. My goal is to help you create a strong and fulfilling relationship with your partner. My approach I believe everyone deserves to learn how to connect better with their partners. I use CBT and Emotion-Focused Therapy in my practice to help you get there. My focus I work best with young and middle-aged, married adult males (ages 18-45) who value family. I am comfortable treating relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, and men’s issues. My communication style My clients describe me as warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental. I am easy to talk to and enjoy using humor when appropriate in session. My journey to mental healthcare I became a therapist because I have had a natural inclination to help and listen to others since childhood. I fell in love with therapy work, particularly because it involves personal growth and the gratification of helping clients experience significant breakthroughs that drive positive change. My goals for you I am collaborative in creating goals with my clients. I like to learn what successful treatment looks like to you so that we can get a good idea of what you’re looking for. I also like to check in continuously throughout our time working together to review the progress of our goals. My first session with you Our first meeting will be a 20-minute initial assessment to make sure that we are a good fit to work together and to understand what modality is best for your unique circumstance. After that, we will have our first full session where we will focus on understanding your situation further and establishing our goals for treatment.
