Eric Billig, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
Hello, my name is Eric Billig, LMFT, and thank you for taking the time to visit my page. What sets me apart from many other therapists is my unique approach to therapy, which connects mental interventions to physiological systems through what is called the neuro-cognitive model. I have 30 years of experience treating mental health, and my own self-analysis has led me to this understanding. Our conscious mind is driven by unconscious drives, which are programmed by our daily behaviors and thoughts. I provide foundational information on how your psyche works and offer tools to rewire the outcomes you wish to achieve. This approach is transforming the fields of addiction therapy, trauma, anxiety, and depression. It will empower you and help you see things you have never known before. I look forward to helping you achieve your health, freedom, and desires. I earned my Master?s in Counseling Psychology from Ryokan College, which deepened my knowledge and skills in this field. My approach Neurocognitive therapy helps you understand how the psychological system operates. I will, so to speak, upload new software. Your conscious mind is driven by unconscious wired pathways. Using mindfulness, logic, wellness, and hard work, we create new pathways and new behaviors. My focus I work with all populations. My communication style I am very grounded yet passionate about mental health. I use logic combined with active listening. I am a warm, empathic human being. My journey to therapy I knew I wanted to be in psychology in my early teens and spent a lot of time working in addiction recovery. After years pursuing music, I returned to my passion and earned my degree. I have worked extensively in emergency psychiatric stabilization, addiction recovery, anxiety, depression, and existential development. My goals for you Identifying negative unconscious drives, practicing daily mindfulness, and increasing wellness. This will create a new perspective and, thus, new behaviors.
