Hi there, I'm Eric! My name is Eric Saprid, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I believe in treating everyone with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused techniques, motivational interviewing, and spirituality. My approach Common theoretical approaches that I integrate into my practice include Cognitive Theory, the Humanistic approach, and Erikson's Stages of Development. I have extensive experience using cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing in my work. My focus I have worked with a diverse population, including severely emotionally disturbed children, elderly adults, persons struggling with substance abuse, the homeless, individuals experiencing psychosis, and those with mood disorders. Over the past year, I have supported clients dealing with depression, anxiety, substance use, and general psychosocial stressors. My communication style I create a safe space where clients feel comfortable voicing their concerns. You can expect a warm welcome and a collaborative partnership, where I often ask for your feedback on what is working or not working for you. My journey to therapy My caring nature made the therapist profession a natural fit. Early in my career, much of my work was volunteerism in the community and church. I enjoyed serving food at homeless shelters and mentoring youth at church camps for several years. These experiences inspired me to become a Social Worker and then a Therapist. I am passionate about counseling, and what drives me is seeing people's mental health improve and their quality of life enhance. My goals for you I meet you where you are. Together, we will shape our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique needs and goals.
