I am a Doctor of Education in Community Care and Counseling. Also, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Doctorate of Education in Texas, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, & Virginia. I reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I studied psychology and human behavior at Saint Martin's College in Washington State, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in 1999. I advanced my clinical learning at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2005 and graduated with a Master of Science degree in Social Work. I obtained a doctorate of education at Liberty University in 2023. My formal and informal education in the hard school of life has given me a well-rounded experience in dealing with people and their problems. His Strength Counseling was officially established in March 2015. I obtained my clinical experience helping individuals who were hurting so much mentally or were at serious risk of harm from withdrawal from dangerous substances; they had to be hospitalized in an acute hospital setting. helpI gained my expertise in counseling severely mentally ill and drug/alcohol addicted clients. Real therapy is not done in a hospital setting; crisis management and stabilization are the top priorities in this level of care. Actual therapy began after the crisis had been stabilized. I would continue working with customers after they have been discharged with ongoing stabilization and helped them to learn how to manage their illnesses. I have counseled and coached people in their homes and online. I have worked with people from all kinds of backgrounds and have experience with adults, adolescents, couples, and families.
