Getting to know Erika Carbajal
Hello! My name is Erika, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I can imagine that deciding who to trust with your story can be overwhelming, so I want to share a bit about my intentions as your therapist.
Ultimately, I truly believe that our perceptions can either help us or hinder our day-to-day lives. What we think and believe can negatively impact our feelings and actions or even keep us in situations or relationships that are not healthy for us. Whether it's increasing your self-awareness, creating balance, or improving your ability to cope, I will guide you through that process.
Seeking help for your self-improvement is already a great first step! Opening up to a stranger is very scary, and I prioritize creating a safe space for you. I plan to meet you where you are and guide you along the way to hopefully get you to where you aspire to be. My priority is to empower you to be the best version of yourself.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Sessions will be customized to your needs. Initially, I will assess your goals and reasons why you are seeking therapy. We will always begin with checking in and allow the session to organically flow. If there is a recent life stressor that you need to process, we can do so! I want you to feel as if we are having a "normal" conversation but we will be doing the necessary therapeutic work.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
