I am Mrs. Erika Castillo-Emshoff, a LPC Associate Therapist. I Have a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I am a graduate student at Grand Canyon University working on Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been a preschool teacher for the past 4 years and have worked with children and toddlers from birth to 6 years of age. I am trained in play therapy, Solution Focus and CBT with children and teens. I specialize in working with children who often experience meltdowns, big worries, parenting, anger management, grief and loss or social skills deficits. In addition, I work with tweens, adolescents, adults, and those with itty-bitty toes and fingers. Over the past 4 years I’ve been enjoying life as a preschool teacher, working with children and toddlers ages 0 to 6. I am trained in play therapy techniques, Solution Focus and CBT with children and teens. I enjoy working with children and parents, strengthening their bond together. I am under the supervision of Dr. Valencia Campbell-Chapin, LPC-S, RPT-S, LCDC.
