“Erika is incredible. I actually had a previous therapist on Grow that after two sessions I stopped talking to because it wasn’t a good fit. Erika is authentic, she lets me talk. She asks me a lot of questions & she offers solutions knowing I’m open minded. I’ve seen her 4 or 5 times and will continue seeing her.”

Getting to know Erika Leigh Grandberg

I love my profession! I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (independently licensed in FL and MA) for over 25 years, with experience working with adults and adolescents, both female and male. I inspire hope while working together to develop essential life skills and healthy coping tools. I take a strength-based approach because I believe everyone can grow and change. The hardest and most important step is reaching out and asking for help, so you are on your way to a better place in your life. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Simmons University, which has equipped me with a strong foundation to support my clients effectively. Do you find that you tend to dwell on the past and things you can't change? Do you worry about the future, the what-ifs, and things you cannot predict? Do you find yourself so busy in life-maybe taking care of others, putting their needs ahead of your own-that you forget or don't feel you have time to take care of yourself? That's where I can help. I specialize in treatment for depression, anxiety, PTSD, psychosocial stressors and major life changes, self-esteem building, social skills, trauma, and grief. I am very knowledgeable about mental health diagnoses; however, I focus less on the actual diagnosis because a mental illness does not define who you are. I am here to help guide you to a happy and healthy place in your life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Change starts today. Therapy doesn't need to go on for years and that gets very expensive. I take a goal-oriented approach. We will work together on establishing your goals for therapy, identifying and eliminating barriers to change while feeling hopeful and excited about your future. I help people learn mindfulness skills and how to calm their mind and body and slow down their thoughts in order to make thoughtful and well-informed decisions.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Erika has helped me overcome a ton of anxiety and conflict by meeting me where I stand, never judging me for my actions or tendencies and providing positive, constructive feedback in our sessions.
