Psychotherapist
CA
I’m a bilingual Spanish-speaking therapist. I am committed to creating a safe, compassionate space for healing. It’s an honor to walk alongside you as you explore your inner world, and I deeply value the trust you place in this journey. My approach My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in deep respect for your lived experience. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic practices, and psychodynamic therapy to support you in understanding how your mind, body, and past experiences connect and influence your present. My focus Whether you’re working through anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, or feeling disconnected from yourself, I’m here to support you with care, attunement, and collaboration. My communication style As a therapist, I strive to maintain an open and honest communication style that fosters trust, clarity, and emotional safety. I value transparency and encourage clients to express themselves freely, while also being clear and direct in my communication. I approach sessions with warmth and respect, while being assertive when it comes to setting and maintaining appropriate therapeutic boundaries. These boundaries are essential to creating a safe, ethical, and productive environment for growth and healing. I aim to support clients in feeling heard and empowered, while also modeling healthy interpersonal dynamics through clear, respectful, and compassionate dialogue. My journey to mental healthcare My journey to becoming a therapist began while working at a homeless shelter, supporting children and teens during a particularly vulnerable time in their lives. In that role, I often found myself connecting deeply not only with the young people but also with their parents, many of whom would come into my office to share their struggles, fears, and hopes. Those conversations left a lasting impression on me.
