Hi there, I'm Erin! I am a compassionate and skilled psychotherapist with 15 years of experience. I specialize in treating Anxiety and related disorders, OCD and depression. My approach I use evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to treat anxiety, depression and OCD. I also work with people who are having relational difficulties, grief and stress. I create a safe and supportive space so client's can build resilience and confidence. I understand that every client's struggles are unique, and I tailor my approach to fit your needs. My goal is to support you in shifting to healthy responses to stressors and to help you get freedom from suffering and be more present and joyful in your life. My focus I appreciate working with motivated clients of all ages who are ready to dig into the journey of their own healing. My communication style I am fairly direct, and a deep listener. You will find our sessions a safe space to just be yourself. My journey to mental healthcare I worked as an environmental educator for many years. As I tromped around the forrest with students, I loved showing them nature, and I recognized the powerful peace that came to students because of being in nature, with each other, and moving our bodies. I wanted to find out how to grow these and other therapeutic tools to further help people heal and find peace. My goals for you I take time to get to know you, your challenges and strengths. Then we work together to create treatment goals that are meaningful to you. We create a plan to meet those goals, and then start skill building, processing and practicing new ways of thinking and being together, creating healthier habits of responding to our thoughts and life. My first session with you I am warm and want to know all about you. I want to know what has worked, your challenges, strengths, and what would make your life more wonderful.
