“It was my first session ever and I was so nervous- what if I was judged, what if she thought I was a horrible person, what if I couldn‚Äôt be helped- after my first session all those worries were no longer there. Erin is kind, helpful, askes me good questions for me to explore more, and gives me advice to make my life more level. She is flexible in times and days availability so if I need an extra hour she gets back to me and lets me know. Easy to talk to and calms me.”

Getting to know Erin Daley

Hello, I am Erin! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about supporting my clients so they can heal and reveal their natural potential. My approach I take a client-centered approach, meeting clients where they are, then collaborating on an approach and pace that feels challenging yet realistic and safe. My integrative theoretical approach includes CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic, Inner Child work, strengths-based, Mindfulness, Attachment theory, and existential theories. I believe each person’s task is to find meaning and purpose in life, which can be achieved in many ways, and I am excited to be on this journey with you! My focus On my path to licensure, I gained experience in various settings with diverse populations. While some opportunities stretched my comfort zone, I am grateful for every individual I’ve worked with. These settings include group homes, foster care, classrooms, in-home, inpatient hospitals, ICU psychiatric units, outpatient clinics, private practice, and community programs. I treat anxiety, depression, life transitions, family and relationship issues, couples, family and group therapy, self-esteem, trauma, ADHD, neurodivergence, and LGBTQAI concerns—though this list is not exhaustive. My biggest takeaway is seeing the shared human experience in all of us. Education I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from National University and my Bachelor’s from Alliant International University. My communication style I believe my communication is kind, clear, and honest. I strive to show up authentically, hoping clients feel safe bringing anything up. I appreciate appropriate humor and always respect my clients’ preferences.
